MARIA ANGELA JACQUES (pictured on left) has a Masters degree in Psychology and is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has worked with individuals, children and families in the field of mental health for over 25 years. She has certifications in the areas of addictions including the National Certification for Compulsive Gambling.
She has been asked to appear on several Spanish language stations to bring awareness to the issues of hispanics and gambling. Her wealth of knowledge and background combines the training she has received in the field of the mind and connecting the mind, body and spirit as a whole unit. She has developed programs for adolescents and families both locally in the Miami area and served as a consultant nationwide in developing similar programs throughout the United States.
She has done extensive training in the area of holistic counseling combining methods such as hypnotherapy, psychodrama energy psychology and neuro-linguistic programming to address and bring about wholeness and balance to individual lives.
Currently, she is working with select clients as a consultant and coach in the areas of neurolinguistic re-patterning, relationships, family therapy(group and individual) and gambling addiction recovery. Please fill out the contact form for rates and a free consultation.
Maria has been married to her husband for 26 years and has a son who just left to college and a 13 year old daughter. She resides with them in Miami.
BLANCA STELLA MEJIA (pictured on right) is the owner and broker of Casablanca Properties Inc., a full service real estate brokerage firm in Miami, Florida. Her areas of expertise in her 23 year career include foreclosures, REO sales(bank owned properties), Luxury Home Marketing and Commercial Sales. She also has been a partner and investor in several multi-family buildings where she was the project manager for renovations, sales and condominium conversion.
Blanca is a certified Foreclosure Prevention Specialist and Certified REO Specialist with a Bachelors degree in Finance and International Business.
Besides working full time as a real estate agent, she has authored a book and is in the process of completinganother one. The first will be published in a few months. It is a story about falling in love and letting go.
In 2002, Blanca had a near death experience thru a car accident which turned her life upside down and in which she could not walk for one year. As a result, her passion was ignited to inspire others to dare to dream and have the courage to totally recreate their lives. For this reason, she has created this blog.
In her spare time, she is developing CD’s based on her training in hypnotherapy. These CD’s will be focused on repatterning old programming which no longer serves you. She is a Certified Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotist.
