Mosaic in Lobby of A Condo Called Mosaic In South Beach

Mosaic In Lobby of A Condo in South Beach Called Mosaic

It’s been just over 21 days since my last post bringing in the new year. They say it takes 21 days to develop a new habit. Luckily, I have the habit of eating well and exercising, so I didn’t have to put those on my resolution list.

For me, it is now creating a structure and more order with all the new opportunities that have opened up for me. It’s continuing to put together the pieces of the puzzle like the picture of the mosaic in this post.Hopefully, one day it will all of sudden take shape. I trust it now much more.

I have continued to work for my brother during the day and at night have put a lot of thought to what direction I need to focus for my personal projects. I had a little countdown clock on this blog, which said “Countdown to My Dreams”. I had put it there back in September when I almost gave up on my projects as a reminder to keep going.

My Spanish website, Mi Caminar is up and running and just yesterday, another cousin submitted his first post. I was very excited about that. All I have looked for in the past year for my projects is collaboration. I realize that alone, it is very difficult to get something up and running in a very short time. For this reason, I took down my countdown clock and decided instead to work in a different way this year.

I will still keep going, but for now, everything is a step by step plan in its own time.   Much has been rooted in 2009 while simultaneously much has been let go. We shall see how 2010 reveals itself. I have a feeling it is going to be much lighter. And if a wind comes and knocks me down a bit, my feet now are very firmly planted in the ground.

I will never give up doing my passion, which is writing even if in the wee hours of the night. It is what moves my soul. Chapters of my mini manuscript will be posted with the suggestion of Hugh MacLeod of Gaping Void.com who I saw recently at a Sushi Tweetup. Who knows maybe it will take a life of its own and become something totally different. Time will tell….I am ready for the new transformation and inspirations which come my way.

By the way, go buy Hugh’s new book, Ignore Everybody. I loved it and it was an easy read in a few hours. It was very inspiring and funny. Here is the link to our Sushi Tweetup at Sushi Samba this week. Don’t miss his humorous inspiration during the tweetup about South Beach in the slideshow.
