I now have another step to take in this process which is physical therapy. My mind is already racing and wanting to get alot of things done. I want to go to the office and a small part of me starts to get into that stress syndrome once again. Last year, I took a few days in my home to retreat in silence, journaling and reading books. By the third day, I wasn’t sure what to do, but what ended up happening was that it was the most creative time of my life after that self imposed retreat.
I have learned that the most amazing experiences are just around the corner..if we could just give ouselves the time. For me it was going to the beach by myself and creating a butterfly garden in my back yard – two simple things that didn’t cost much but gave me an experience of a lifetime.
Here is an article about the Miami Blue Butterfly that is fastly disappearing.

At the end of the article is says this:”The most important thing to know about them is that they’re so many of them critical to the existence of life on the planet. They are organisms with the ability to learn and they have specialized behavior. They’re amazingly complicated organisms and are key ecosystem engineers. We don’t appreciate them nearly as much as we should.”
Isn’t that how we are too?
