My last post titled, Inspired, Rooted & Ready, I wrote about the pieces of the puzzle coming together. Besides this blog being my catharsis for change, it is also a behind the scenes look at how I perservered in my struggles these last two years.
I have found collaberation with two of my cousins in Colombia on my Spanish blog. That is, after all, where my roots are.
For that reason I am putting the little time I have available in the evenings on this project called Mi Caminar. I created a twitter profile different from my main one to connect with the Hispanic Community. So far, I am loving it and it is less time consuming because the content is a collaboration of two or three of us. I am also thrilled that that Mi Caminar is on a list on Blog World for list of Hispanics in the Blogosphere.
I love the other connections I have made, but with little time available to work at night, I must put a focus to where my heart is leading me. For this reason, I may not be blogging here as much.
I have literally given up watching TV and other activities to continue pursuing my dreams no matter how long it takes. I still have to work during the day to bring home some bacon. Yet, seeds were planted two years ago with a good intention to spread a message of inspiration, hope and strength during times of chaos.
One of my best friends came over today and finally saw my blogs. She later texted me and said she was proud how courageous I was. I replied that I didn’t see it that way. For me, it was about maintaining a clear mind and a strong heart to maintain balance. My goal was and always shall be to find peace amidst all of it. I feel I have succeeded.
So let’s see where my roots continue to lead me. All I know is that anything that I do with my heart gives me the fuel and passion to do whatever I work in during the day.
