I got back from the vet around 7PM. I have been raining tears down my face for a couple of hours.Sparky has cancer. That is why he didn’t have energy. The x-rays show it already has spread to his heart and lungs, so it looks pretty bad. It is not related to his paw.
Just when I thought he was getting better, and now this. And the weird thing is that in the afternoon right before I went to the vet, I made one of the best connections in the last six months with an asset manager. My thought was wow, just when I was throwing in the towel, I finally get some potential good news on my business. It still has happened yet, but it was a very good connection.
I am still processing this feeling with Sparky. I have never loved a pet so much as I have him. He has been my constant companion. I brought him home and chose not to put him on IV’s and chemotherapy. My brother says it is the best thing to do for now until I see him in unbearable distress. He is walking and ate tonight. What a long road this has been.
On my way to the vet, I was thinking of that great phone call I had with this Asset Manager. They are the ones that give real estate agents the listings for the properties they have in inventory. They are hired directly by the bank to hire and manage the property and oversee the realtor to make sure everything is being handled properly. I made this connection from my brother. This Asset Manager happened to go to my brothers office today and my brother casually mentioned what he did for a living. Talking to an Asset Manager for 30 minutes without meeting them face to face is like finding gold.
I was in such a grateful mood especially thinking of last year on Cinco de Mayo and all the prayers that everyone did for me on Blanquita Day. And my doctor appeared on the next day May 6th. So today this Asset Manager appeared out of the blue through a family member, on May 6th. Dr. Fox appeared out of the blue through a family member too. It made me think how during these hard times that many are going thru, it is important to stay in good connection with your families and friends. Make right from any wrongs or old lingering resentments. You never know how valuable they are besides the love they give you.
