I dashed to the computer in the middle of my exercise at home to write this post. I have my favorite music, DJ Tiesto, in the background. The song is called Ride. It is from the album, “In Search of Sunrise.” For those that have known me on Twitter, I am always tweeting that it is DJ Tiesto time when I am about to start exercising at home when I don’t have time to go to the gym. Somehow, it opens my heart and fills me with inspiration and motivation.
Anyway, today I have been totally focused on getting a lot of to do’s for my brother’s project. I had gotten behind in the last couple of weeks due to my focus on real estate. I was researching webinar conferencing and ended up on a website that does podcast search. My mind started thinking: “How Am I going to accomplish my own projects in six months?” After all, if I want to inspire others, I have to walk my talk and completely live it. I have lived my pain and losses and have had complete blessings in the process. That is what this whole blog is about. I am talking from my own experience. It’s real and organic. That is what I want to share. My heart is open. I have worked on my self from the inside out. It is time that I get out and make my dreams happen. (more…)
My mini meltdown yesterday was not just about being jilted by another realtor who wanted to take the commission all for himself. Though it did take the wind out of me a bit, I have learned to stomach it.
I had a mini meltdown today. Before you’re wondering if I am about to vent, I already did. I meditated in the afternoon, went to the gym, bought sushi & sake at the groceries, read some interesting links on twitter and now I am back to “normal”.
One of my best friend that I mentioned in this
I just came back from seeing the movie Julie & Julia. It was very inspiring for me for two reasons: I used to love to cook gourmet food & I love to write. The movie is about the true story of two women, Julia Child and a young married woman who just turned 30 who starts blogging about her passion, food.
I went to an Association of Women in Communications meeting a few weeks ago. The topic was about the job environment. One of the speakers, a writer, author and journalist showed her five or so business cards. They were all different. She wears many hats maneuvering this market. I had thrown in the towel to real estate because the business was dry as the Sahara. I was happily doing my brother’s project in July even though I haven’t firmly established if this is going to be full time.
