I went this morning to see a beautiful sunrise with my son. Now I am home to make sure Sparky is OK. It has been almost one week since he went to the vet and the cast is still one. Amazing! Today is Easter and the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus. This morning before going to see the sunrise I went on the computer to find the meaning of resurrection and printed this out. I will attempt to go more in depth with this later because I have to go celebrate with my family. There are many definitions of Resurrection, some literal and some symbolic.
I like to keep things simple. This blog is not about Bible study because I am not well versed in the Bible. I completely believe in Jesus. I was raised Catholic and truly believe Jesus came into this world to bring a beautiful message. So in the light of what we are celebrating today and attempting to keep this simple, in the end it is about the immense love that God has for us. And if we are of God, then we too are capable of immense love.
My intention with Resurrect Your Hero is to share my feelings of how my heart has been opened these years and hopefully inspire others to do the same. The heart is the path to living a full life. That’s it. And I believe that is what Jesus was teaching. Have a happy Easter!
