She says she had no idea how far the tunnel was and that the light at the end of the tunnel was just a hope. The rest as they say is history.

    This video gave me a burst of inspiration as she talks about using imagination. Listen to the whole thing as it is worth listening to.

    It’s been just over 21 days since my last post bringing in the new year. They say it takes 21 days to develop a new habit. Luckily, I have the habit of eating well and exercising, so I didn’t have to put those on my resolution list.

    For me, it is now creating a structure and more order with all the new opportunities that have opened up for me. It’s continuing to put together the pieces of the puzzle like the picture of the mosaic in this post.Hopefully, one day it will all of sudden take shape. I trust it now much more. (more…)

  • Is Inner Peace Elusive?

    I took these pictures two weeks ago on my way to visit my parents. It is a view of Biscayne Bay with Coconut Grove in the backdrop. The view driving from the car was some beautiful clouds with the sunset peaking behind. This part of the beach is also under renovation.  Recently the city cut down the Australian Pines along the stretch of the Rickenbacker Causeway. According to a Miami Herald article, the trees drive out native foliage and make nesting difficult for rare species. (more…)

    2009 has been an interesting chaotic year. As 2010 approaches, I look back at all the challenges of this year and observe that in the midst of them, many opportunities came my way. I had set an intention two years ago to follow my dreams. While I am not exactly where I really want to be, I have made great strides in getting closer to them.

    I am grateful for the many new connections I have made through Social Media all over the world and the abundance of new found friends I have made through local tweetups. I can honestly say that  it has been an experience of expanding my universe in a way that I never expected. By sharing, listening to others stories and making humor of life, going through the process of change has made it easier. (more…)
