TIME: Where does it go? So much has happened in this summer. I let go of my crutch and in the first parent teacher meeting of the year, I walked all over my sons school, meeting all his teachers. I was able to walk freely. As they say, there is a time and a season for everything, and the season of the summer was the final season to let go and let all the fruits in. The vision with my sister of creating this website and other goals we have started last September around this time, exactly 1 year ago. Now we had to take a pause for a few months, to regroup and regather. I have to continue my real estate work and Maria is working as a therapist and contracts with an outpatient center for older folks. It is not as freeing as creating our dream of inspiring others and writing but it is a necessary step to keep order amongst the chaos.
To keep any vision or dream alive requires a revisiting of the feeling when the original vision was birthed. For what purpose are you creating your dream? If its just for money, it is easier to give up, because money alone doesn’t have the same oomph and passion as for example, the passion to make a difference in some children or teens lives for they are the future leaders of our world. That is what inspires me to keep on moving on.
If whatever I say inspires anyone else, then that’s great, but for me my most memorable feeling of why I want to go out and create something different apart from my real estate work, is for the children. That keeps it alive and in perspective or depression or frustration and anger(two extremes of the same coin) can dominate and squash the dream.
